Teaching was one thing. Sailing was another.

When i combined them, I understood that this is it.

It's the most fulfilling thing for me:

to help you chase your dream of sailing,

and to achieve that "I can't believe this is real" smile on your face

after you've anchored the boat in a beautiful, crystal-clear bay.

Sailing Looks Hard… But It Doesn’t Have to Be.

Your Adventure Starts Now – Not ‘One Day’

Too many people say, “One day, I’ll learn to sail,” and never take action. This is your chance to finally make it happen. With a clear date, structured training, and pre-course material, you’ll start learning before you even step on the boat.

✅ Pre-course materials to help you get ahead
✅ Personalized coaching so you progress fast
✅ A full week to live and breathe the sailing lifestyle

More Than a Course – A Life-Changing Experience

Some sailing courses throw you on a boat, give you a few drills, and send you home. Not here. This is a full 7-day all-inclusive experience, where you’ll not only learn to sail but also explore, relax, and connect with an amazing crew.

✅ Sailing, accommodation, food, and adventure—all included
✅ One-on-one coaching tailored to your goals

FAQ

  • What are the dates and duration of the course?
The course runs from Saturday after noon to Saturday morning, giving you a full week of learning, sailing, and adventure.
  • What does the course price include?
The price includes: 7 nights’ accommodation on the boat. A professional instructor. All boat-related group expenses, such as water, fuel, marina fees, and tourist fees. High-quality food provisions for the boat (we don’t skimp on quality!). Sheets and towels. The cleaning fee. Not included: Alcohol, meals off the boat, and instructor gratuity.
  • How many participants are in each course?
Sailing courses: Max of 4-5 students for a more hands-on learning experience. Therapy and adventure sports week: Typically 6-8 students, focusing on connection and teamwork.
  • Who are the people with me on the boat?
The task of learning how to sail attracts good, open-minded, communicative people. From all the teaching charters I've done, no matter the combination of ages, nationalities, or lifestyles, when people share a love for water and adventure, it’s never a bad mix. I make sure to attract open-minded, communicative, and adventure-ready individuals to create a great group dynamic!
  • How are provisions handled?
We do the provisioning ourselves, meaning you can pick the food you love for the week. It’s a collaborative experience! Cooking: I love to cook, and I often focus on meals, while students handle other boat duties like prepping and cleaning. Teamwork: Anyone who wants to can treat the group to a delicious meal – it’s all about sharing the experience.
  • What’s a typical day like?
Start the day with breathwork, a swim, or some exploration. Enjoy theory lessons over breakfast. Head out for sailing drills and work toward the next destination. Finish the day before sunset with dinner, group activities, games, or an evening swim. Occasionally, we’ll explore beautiful old harbor cities onshore. Learning happens throughout the day – even at night! We cover topics like navigating by stars, managing night watch, or solving any issues that arise.
  • I have experience; is this course for me?
100%! There’s always something new to learn and experience. Nature and the boat will find ways to present new challenges, and I’ll teach you how to address them effectively. If you’re confident in your skills, I’ll give you the freedom to take charge and provide feedback later. We can also step things up for you by introducing creative challenges or embracing the raw power of nature. Additionally, we’ll work on your instruction skills because a good captain also needs to know how to teach their crew in a simple and informative way.
  • What should I pack?
Keep it simple! Here’s a packing list: Clothing: 2 bathing suits, 1 pair of sandals/flip-flops, 1 pair of shoes, 1 rain jacket, 1 set of warm clothes (jeans and a jacket), a long-sleeve T-shirt for sun protection, and day-to-day clothes plus going-out outfits. Accessories: A hat with a strap to keep it from flying away, sunglasses, chargers, and a portable charger. Toiletries: You can buy essentials like sunscreen and shampoo locally if needed. Medicine and personal items you require. Important: Pack light! Hard cases don’t have room on the boat and can be left ashore, but it’s best to bring a soft bag for easy storage.
  • Is there cell service on the boat and Wi-Fi?
Yes, there is cell service! While we may venture into a bay where reception is weak, it’s usually not a problem to get enough signal to send messages. I recommend taking the opportunity to enjoy the disconnection for a bit – it’s part of the adventure! However, if staying connected is essential, we can ensure you have access to service when needed.
  • Can I charge my devices on the boat?
Phones and tablets: Chargeable via 12V (car charger-style) outlets. Laptops and 220V devices: Only chargeable when connected to shore power or when using the generator (we minimize generator use to stay eco-friendly).
  • What are the shower facilities like?
The boat has both indoor and outdoor showers with hot water, and marinas offer land-based showers. My favorite is the cockpit shower – fresh seawater rinse, sweet water washout, ocean view, and all!
  • What makes this course unique?
This isn’t just a sailing course – it’s a transformative experience. My mission is to ensure you fully understand every subject we cover. I’ll break down complex topics into smaller, manageable pieces, and we’ll work together to build your understanding step by step. Beyond teaching you how to sail, I’ll provide tools and develop your self-learning abilities, empowering you to continue growing even after the course. But it’s not just about sailing – it’s about adopting a healthy lifestyle and the mindset of being a captain. The skills and confidence you gain on the water can help you navigate life with greater ease. My goal is to ensure that when you return to your normal life, you’ll have practical tools for a better, more fulfilling day-to-day existence.
  • What additional costs can I expect on-site?
Here are some costs to plan for: Flights to the destination. Transportation to the marina. Food off the boat. Alcohol. Instructor gratuity: Tipping is not mandatory, but being a captain and instructor on a boat that serves you 24/7 is not like a delivery person dropping off a pizza – it’s a constant service. If you feel like giving something, it will be very appreciated!
